With Christmas around the corner, singer-songwriter Mariannie releases UNDER THE MISTLETOE digitally on Nov 25, 2016 via Black Knight. Stylistic in theme comparable to Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas”, UNDER THE MISTLETOE is Mariannie’s self-penned and produced debut Christmas song. Fused with retro sounds of big Motown drums and big backing vocals, strings, and horns, UNDER THE MISTLETOE is bold and brassy in arrangement, feel, and tempo - yet the sound is pure pop in essence. The song climaxes to the song’s cadence with Mariannie’s soaring vocals in the end.
